Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1970 in Huntington, Long Iceland, New York) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, producer and actress. With 18 No. 1 hits in the US and more than 200 million records sold, it is one of the most successful musicians of our time.


Mariah Carey was born on March 27, 1970 in Long Iceland, New York as the third child of the Afro-Venezuelan engineer Alfred Roy Carey and Irish opera singer Patricia Hickey.
